I think this will be a good place to post the tools used for DDos, Dos, etc... Applications, sites, techniques

For starters, how to properly use proxies? How many are necessary?

About proxies:
you need them to mask your IP if you are haxoring frome your home, but you DO NOT use them to DDOS because you'll just destroy proxy's server. About how to use them - well, it's not that fucking hard, seriously.

They work the same way as magnets.

Tor
Hotspot Shield
Proxifier

And then you have the private proxies and VPN's, which are configured via the internet tools.

I would say that Tor is probably one of the best. Proxifier is diffucult for new users and Hotspot shield has annoying ads.

HS is very good (though ads suck) and TOR is good too, but is also VERY slow. Freenet is faster

I have tried to do the proxy settings from my computer's networking, but failed misserably (i'm running OSX)

I'll have to research more on that shit.

I was using proxi4free.com to get behind html proxies

I tried usint TOR but again, didn't work. I would not mask the IP address

Don;t use Mac so dunno, maybe try Hotspot Shield.

Is this safe? I really don't want a new virus.

Should be safe, when I've downloaded it there were no viruses (antivir detected only 'hacktools', which is exactly the content of DK)

I know that using a proxy is easy but what is stopping you from being traced if you don't use a proxy?

We're over-reliant on DDOSing, which will only be effective with large numbers of followers. To begin with, we need some alternative techniques.

Any use for an email or sms bomber? I have one and can upload it to a drop box account if needed.

oh. and a mass page viewer. could come in handy.

All I got was a jpeg, what do? I know it's encoded or something, but how?

Simply rename it from .jpg to .rar and unzip it.
